波士顿——朗伍德集体广受欢迎的“户外//”场所营造项目正在朗伍德医疗和学术区 (LMA) 全面展开，为 LMA 的员工、患者、学生和访客提供有趣的活动、音乐表演、户外艺术、餐车、健身课程和其他免费向公众开放的便利设施。

今年，Outside// 将通过“Bands on Blackfan”系列活动提供免费的户外现场音乐会，下一场音乐会定于 7 月 20 日星期四上午 11:30 至下午 1:30 在 Emmanuel Lawn（路易斯·巴斯德大道 33 号）举行，届时将由 Eli Cash Band 乐队演出。今年，Outside// 项目还将把活动带到两个新的 LMA 地点，包括 Brigham and Women's Hospital Cohn Courtyard 和 Emmanuel College 草坪，加上去年安排活动的九个地点，今年的活动地点将增加到更多。

“我们于2019年与波士顿儿童医院、贝斯以色列女执事医疗中心、布莱根妇女医院和丹娜-法伯癌症研究所合作，首次推出了Outside//项目，旨在将私人广场和人行道改造成公共空间，供我们的员工、学生和访客放松身心、享受乐趣并彼此交流，”朗伍德社区发展公司首席执行官大卫·斯威尼表示。“最初只是一个试点项目，但在新冠疫情期间，它迅速发展成为一项真正必不可少的服务，并成为我们社区备受喜爱的核心项目。我们很高兴今年夏天能以更大规模、更完善的形式再次推出Outside//项目。”

除了每周的餐车活动、健身课程、藏书400册的户外阅览室和游戏车之外，Outside//项目还与朗伍德集体交通管理协会（Longwood Collective）旗下的交通管理机构CommuteWorks合作，为骑自行车通勤者提供免费自行车维修服务，并组织草坪游戏。去年夏天，每周有超过200人参加“摇尾巴星期三”狗狗活动，人们可以与狗狗互动并领养它们。该项目每周还提供20小时的现场音乐表演。朗伍德集体的调查显示，其68,000名员工中有56%的人曾多次参与Outside//的活动或到访过多个场地。

朗伍德集体城市规划师/设计师瑞秋·道利·亚历山大（Rachel Dowley Alexander）是“户外//”（Outside//）项目的负责人，她表示：“过去一年，我们从会员那里了解到，他们非常期待‘户外//’项目能够创造欢乐时光，并将关爱文化‘带到户外’，以此来补充我们医院和医疗中心每天所做的卓越工作。这影响了我们对2023年活动的规划。我们也一致认为，‘户外//’是让朗伍德医疗中心（LMA）对来自波士顿及周边社区各个背景和街区的居民更加友好和热情的又一途径。”

Outside// 由三名一线“大使”组成的团队提供支持，他们帮助人们了解可用的项目和便利设施；此外，还有来自 Block by Block 的团队领导，这是一家总部位于肯塔基州的公司，提供一系列服务来激活和维护商业和学术/医疗区，例如波士顿的 LMA 以及全国各地的城市。

A key feature of the Outside// program are the tables, chairs, and umbrellas for people to use and enjoy.
